Sara Lindberg, M.Ed., is a mental health and fitness expert with over 20 years of experience in both fields. In 1996, Sara graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. She worked as the lead exercise specialist and personal trainer at The Seattle Club for several years.
In 1999, Sara graduated from City University with a Master of Education in counseling. Upon graduation, she began a long career as a school counselor working with students aged 12 to 18. Sara served as a secondary-school counselor for 17 years before becoming a full-time writer.
Sara has experience working in the health-club industry and as a personal trainer and group exercise specialist. Additionally, she has extensive experience in the mental health, family support system, and education fields. She also is an accomplished writer focusing on health, fitness, nutrition, mental health, education, and parenting. Her content has appeared in dozens of places including Runner's World, Bicycling Magazine, Men's Health, The Week, The Washington Post, and espnW.
